October 10-11.........Moriarty, NM

Yes, that’s right we’re back after a one-year hiatus with an all-new format.  We are going to hold our workshop in the fall at the same time as the wonderful Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta!  Activities will take place on Friday and Saturday late enough in the day so that you can go watch the balloons launch in the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast burrito, clean up back at your hotel, and then drive over to Moriarty and the hospitality of the US Southwest Soaring Museum.  We’ll have presentations on soaring, sailplane technology, design methods, and hands-on fabrication techniques and a special dinner presentation on Saturday night.

For more information on the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, October 4-12, 2003, check out www.aibf.org on the web.  Plus, Albuquerque has lots of daytime family activities, including the Aquarium, the Zoo, the Sandia Peak Tram, the Atomic Energy Museum, Albuquerque Old Town, and great Southwest dining.
